If ‘dem’ birdies are half as smart as we think they are, they’re flocking to Bountiful to check out our spring in-store events. What better way is there to feather your nest for spring!

If we seem a little giddy about the advent of spring, it’s because spring is always a magical time at Bountiful. And this year promises to be even---well---springier! We’ve put together a whole new batch of in-store seminars and workshops to help you celebrate the season and we hope to see you at as many of them as possible.

Here are a couple of things to think about. Try to sign up early by calling 410-819-8666. Most events have limited seating and we hate to disappoint people. All daytime events include a light lunch, wine & soft drinks. Evening events include great food, wine or champagne, and sometimes a surprise or two.

Spring Bling! Event

February 9
5pm to 8pm

We know February is technically winter, but Jamie has come back from market with such wonderful “Bling for Spring” that we can’t wait to share it with you. Stock up for those spring galas or give yourself an early Valentines present. Join us as we present a check to the good folks at the Mid-Shore Council on Family Violence. The money we will donate that night represents 20% of all the sales made during in-store events from September through December 2011. So come take a bow and accept our thanks for making this donation possible.

By popular request, Bountiful will be offering wonderful outdoor furniture this spring. Come see what we have in store for you (Hint: Do names like Brown Jordan and Lane Venture ring a bell?). You won’t find better choices on either side of the bridge and we’ll be offering a 20% discount for preorders. Poi, pineapple, and tropical drinks for all.
Break out those Hawaiian shirts---we’ll provide the leis.

Bringing the Inside Out

The Shore isn’t called the “Land of Pleasant Living” for nothing! When the weather takes a turn towards wonderful, folks on the Shore head outside. Let us show you how you can make your outdoor living spaces as comfortable and beautiful as your interiors. We’ll be joined by a representative from Lane Venture, a fashion forward outdoor furniture maker.. We’ll be featuring full lines of fabulous outdoor furniture and fabrics and our designers will be on hand to show you how to decorate and accessorize your patio, pool, terrace and porch.

Design Workshop: Tablescapes for spring

Spring offers endless opportunities for bright and colorful table displays. This event features a special guest, Sharon Scheihig, who represents the Beatriz Ball Collection. You won’t want to miss the beautiful pewter serving pieces from this collection nor Sharon’s ideas about how to use them in interesting and innovative ways. Don’t be surprised if Jamie and the design staff step up to the table to share a few tablescaping tricks of their own. It’s spring, so let your heart sing and your imagination run free!

Lilly Pulitzer Kickoff Event

For the last few months we’ve been giving you a sneak peak at Lilly Pulitzer’s classic designs. We’ve shown you her colorful totes, classic personal accessories and even a whimsical to-go cup or two. That was just a sneak peak! Bountiful is now ready to unveil Lilly’s exceptional collections of home furnishings and accents, and we want you to be among the first on the Shore to see them. With Lilly it’s all about color and design—with a twist. Come see how a dash of punched up color---the Lilly Pulitzer way---can add a note of sophistication and style to your interiors.

Design Workshop: Faux finish

Come get your hands dirty and have a ball doing it. Yes you can learn the techniques of fabulous faux effects and we’re here to teach you all about them! Come learn how to create effects that look like leather, parchment, linen, marble and more. Tip: You may want to dress down for this workshop.

Design Workshop: Wallpapering

Whether you plan to do it yourself or hire someone to do it for you, knowing the basics of proper wallpaper installation is essential for getting the quality job we know you want. We’ll show you how it’s done and let you try your hand at it too. We’ll also show you how to pick the best type of wall covering for the space you have in mind. Bountiful has the largest, most current selection of wall coverings on the Shore. Let us show you how wallpaper can transform a room or hall from ho-hum to fabulous.
